The Cabana Boy and the Harem Girl
-A twisting tale of love, Damaris Style-
by the Quad Bardette team of Khestryl, Mrena, Pielle and Xanzie

The Players:

Narrator
Damaris (Can be narrator/Damaris part if players are short)
Cabana Boy - Must be comfortable wearing a corset.
Harem Girl 1
Harem Girl 2
Harem Girl/Love interest
Caliph
Guard (Also can be voice from the doorway)


Narrator melts into view.

Narrator recites:

    "Welcome, good gentles all,
     We’ve gathered to witness love’s call.
     ‘Tho the face is the same,
     Tis a gender swap game,
     Let us guess where fate’s cards may fall."

Narrator melts back into the shadows cackling to her/himself.

Cabana Boy furtively slips into view, approaching a small altar cloaked in
inky
shadows.

Cabana Boy hesitates and fidgets nervously.

Cabana Boy hisses, "Hey, I wanted the shrine to Saemaus, doofs! Who the 'ell
prays to Damaris about love?!?"

A voice loudly whispers from the doorway, "Hurry it up! We ain't got all
day. Ye
wanted a shrine, we got ye a shrine."

Cabana Boy mutters and kneels.

Cabana Boy takes in a deep breath of air.

Cabana Boy sings:

    "Sae... Damaris, I ask for love's favor,
     A fair girl, in the hopes I might tame her.
     For her lips on mine,
     Would be quite divine,
     My life I'd dedicate to her pleasure."


Cabana Boy prays really hard.

Cabana Boy prays fervently.

A snickering is heard from the shadows.

Cabana Boy shudders as a cold wind blows through the room.

Cabana Boy glances around as the room darkens.

Damaris recites:

    "Is a woman's heart worth a night's ramble?
     A little stealth should be up to the gamble.
     To make her confess,
     While he's wearing a dress,
     Of her love for a young cabana boy."

Damaris melts into view from the shadows.

Damaris stares at Cabana Boy with a predatory gleam in his eyes.

Cabana Boy gawks at Damaris.

Damaris exclaims, "Oh, this is rich!" (aside to the audience)

Damaris rubs his hands together.

Damaris recites:

    "Do not dally, young cabana boy,
     Though she seems so flirtatious and coy.
     If ye procrastinate,
     Ye will be a castrate,
     And your body will have no more joy!"

Cabana Boy's body begins to shift and twist about as Damaris changes his
body.

Cabana Boy has just been turned into a woman!

Cabana Boy looks down at his new figure and lets out a scream like a little
girl!

Cabana Boy shrieks!

Cabana Boy covers his mouth with his hand in shock.

Narrator sings:

    "Our Hero has turned Heroine,
     Now his quest has finally began.
     With a flip of his curls,
     He's off for the girl,
     Or he'll never know manhood again."

Cabana Boy slowly runs his hands over his body, pondering how bad this
actually –is- for him...

Damaris whispers, "Luck to you... lass."

Guard yells, "Oi! You, girl! Wot you doin' out 'ere? You otta be in wid da
rest
of 'em, ya?"

Cabana Boy says, speaking in a high-pitched whinney, "Oh ma word, ah don't
know hah I got out hea. Thank you so much for findin' mey."

Guard rolls his eyes.

Guard mutters under his breath, "This is the -ugliest- girl I've EVER seen!"

Guard drags Cabana Boy off by his hair.

Cabana Boy whines.

Guard says, "Now you get ya'self dressed loik a good girl an' stay outta
tha'
garden!"

Narrator:

    "Our hero was in such a mess,
     As the harem girls started to dress.
     A corset to lift,
     A girdle to pinch,
     Still he couldn't think of his love any less."

Harem Girl 1 asks, "Sweetie, can ya lace up my corset?"

Harem Girl 2 exclaims, "Only if you do me next!"

Harem Girl 1 exclaims, "Deal!"

Love Interest turns to Cabana Boy and says softly, "Are my seams straight?"

Love Interest gently smooths her lacy stockings.

Cabana Boy clears a large lump out of his throat before replying, "Yes.."

Love Interest sweetly says, "You should get changed... I know you’re new,
but the master doesn’t like to be kept waiting."

Cabana Boy starts to dress, keeping a close eye on Love Interest.

Love Interest says, "Here, let me."

Love Interest walks slowly behind Cabana Boy and draws a corset around him,
pulling it snug.

Cabana Boy gags, desperate for air!

Love Interest softly says, "It’s so odd... I could swear I know you."

Cabana Boy grins at Love Interest ruefully.

Guard exclaims, "Oi! Why’s it got ta take all day wiv you lot? Get outta
there and show the master whatcha got!"

Narrator recites:

The caliph called for the ladies of veils
So the girls were ushered out of the serail
Each gal got her chance
To show off her dance
Today is a good day to be male

(Harem Girl's dance, either adlib or as is)

Harem Girl 1 dances in a rhythmic circle, hands twining above her head in
sinuous enticement.

Harem Girl 1 arches her body backwards gracefully as her arms sway back and
forth abover her.

Harem Girl 1 brings her body slowly back to vertical and stretches her arms
to
the sky.

Harem Girl 2 lifts one foot out in a graceful arc and pirouettes in a
dazzling spin, her hair cascading in a shimmering arc.

Harem Girl 2 moves her body back and forth like the waves on the ocean.

Harem Girl 2 rolls her neck around slowly, letting her long hair fall where
it may as she dances in a circle.

Narator sings:

    "It was his young love’s turn to dance,
     So he thought that he'd take one small glance.
     But he was truly shocked,
     When she all but de-frocked,
     And for once he was glad he’d no pants!"

Love Interest completes her dance with a graceful curtsy.

Narrator nudges Cabana Boy, "Ahem!"

Love Interest gaze at Cabana Boy thoughtfully.

Love Interest quietly says, "Come on! I’ll show you how it’s done."

Love Interest rests her hands on her sides and sways her hips slowly back
and forth in a graceful circle.

Cabana Boy whispers, "Like this?"

Cabana Boy waggles his hips back and forth.

Cabana Boy glances at Love Interest.

Love Interest turns her hands elegantly before her, raising her arms.

Cabana Boy flails his hands around.

Cabana Boy glances at Love Interest.

Harem Girl shakes her torso, causing a cascade of bells to ring out
erotically across her body.

Cabana Boy drools at Love Interest.

Cabana Boy faints.

Love Interest gasps!  She starts to kneel to help her fellow harem girl when
she spies the Caliph looking their way.  She runs off as she sees the Caliph
approaching, hunger in his eyes.

Narator sings:

    "The Caliph spots our hero asleep,
     'I could have her and not hear a peep!'
     So he thought he just might,
     Take himself a bite,
     The seeds that'd been sown he would reap!"

Love Interest, witnessing the scene from behind a tall plant, rushes over to
the caliph and says, "Master Caliph, your women eagerly await you in the...
baths."

Caliph says, "Oh... yes. I suppose I can’t let them down..."

Caliph leaps to his feet and saunters out of the room, a bit of drool
hanging from his lip.

Cabana Boy slowly wakens to find Love Interest kneeling beside him, gently
stroking his hair.

Cabana Boy leaps to his feet.

Cabana Boy exclaims, "Wow, I just had the weirdest dream that some guy
wanted to do nasty things with me!!"

Love Interest tenderly says, "But I saved you."

Cabana Boy asks, "Err... some guy DID want to do nasty things with me??"

Cabana Boy wobbles on his feet.

Love Interest says, "I told him his women waited for him in the baths...
then he left you alone."

Love Interest smiles.

Cabana boy asked, "And that's how.. you saved me?"

Love Interest nods at Cabana Boy emphatically.

Cabana Boy gazes at Love Interest admiringly.

Cabana Boy sniffles.

Love Interest asks, "What's wrong?"

Cabana Boy says, "I'm sorry. I just... miss someone very special to me."

Cabana Boy smiles at Love Interest.

Cabana Boy asks, "Is there anyone special in your life?"

Love Interest guardedly says, "Well... I did meet a boy. He's a... you'll
think I’m silly!"

Cabana Boy gazes at Love Interest hopefully.

Cabana Boy exclaims, "No I won’t! Tell me!"

Love Interest exclaims, "Well... he's a cabana boy!"

Cabana Boy is suddenly enveloped in a white light, his features shifting...

Cabana Boy excitedly says, "Doesn't sound so odd to me."

Love Interest weakly says, "It's... been... you the whole time?"

Damaris whispers, "Well done... lad."

Cabana Boy asks, "Wha...?"

Cabana Boy hastily pats himself down. Yep! All the right parts seem to be
back!

Cabana Boy sighs with relief.

Cabana Boy clears his throat.

Cabana Boy says to Love Interest, "Yes..."

Love Interest exclaims, "The –whole- time?!"

A fading cackle echoes from the shadows.

Cabana Boy blushes.

Cabana Boy hesitantly asks, " ...yes?"

Love Interest blushes.

Love Interest teasingly says, "Well... you've seen this much of me!"

Love Interest jumps into Cabana Boy's arms.

Narator sings:

    "And so our story does go,
     From harem to marriage, you know.
     Doesn't matter what face,
     Doesn't matter what place,
     True love will continue to grow."
